Album Design for 88.1 KDHX's live album. They record and produce live bands playing in their studio every summer as a thank you to their listeners and supporters. It was exciting to take part in designing something with tracks from national acts like Maps & Atlases, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Islands, Laura Veirs and Midlake.

The concept features several cut scenes of their recording process building the album. The design features a collage of music and recording equipment featured in the forefront to hint at their pride in making the album themselves. The illustration style is a simple icon style mixed with expressive line work hinting at aspects that you would see on a mid century jazz record. The wires, switches, sound waves, dials and other illustrations produce a fun sense of emotion and are grounded by highly modified and styled type.
