SAPPORO CHOPSTICKS CHALLENGE


In 2011 Sapporo needed to gain a little social involvement and interest in their brand at the bar and their events.

The team at Moosylvania threw around a few ideas and ended up creating a game deemed the chopsticks challenge. The key ingredient was a deck of cards with instructions that brought engagement through the use of a pair of chopsticks and any common items that you could have on hand at a bar.

The promotion was lead through print and digital. At bars a physical set of challenges were guided by a deck of cards and a pair of sticks testing speed, strength. dexterity, and team work.

The digital piece was a social and interactive Facebook game. The game was simple use your chopsticks hand to snag above a certain limit of caps within an allotted amount of time without knocking the pile over. Share your ranking with your friends and challenge them to beat your score. The whole campaign was illustrated in a fun information design meets anime style. We recorded sound completely in house and collaborate with some specialty developers.
